(Apologies for arranging these like a grinning face in the photos, that wasn't intentional...!)
We believe the design of this extremely fine and detailed little set is intended to resemble leaves, but the pin does rather look like the articulated tail or spine of some interesting creature, and the earrings the tips of a tail perhaps - of a dragon or scorpion...!
Formed in rose gold testing as around 14/15K, and set with very red Bohemian garnets to the pin in particular - look at them glow! - and lustrous little seed pearls. The detailed and intricate work in these is just really delightful.
The placement of the pin's fastener makes it easy to wear as an interesting, edgy pendant if desired, simply thread a chain through near the hinge.
MEASUREMENTS: Pin just under 1.5" end to end (measured straight across the curve) and 3.3g in weight. Ears approx 9/16" long and 2.1g in weight together.
CONDITION: Very good, wearable antique condition - please view all close-up images. The rears of the earrings have a bit of dark/silvery solder visible but this doesn't effect the gold of the ear posts and can't be seen in wear.
