A most vibrant and pretty little locket pendant/pin c1830 - 40, made in solid 9K gold (tested). To the front is a vacant central glass locket window surrounded by a halo of bright, natural Persian turquoise stones. This can be opened up (best by a jeweller as it is snugly fitted) to insert your own photo, lock of hair or other memento if desired, though it looks pretty nice just showing the gold compartment underneath.
 
To the rear it has an really lovely hinged hanging loop, which simply folds down out of sight if you wish to wear it as a brooch using the original pin fitting - such lovely craftsmanship!
 
MEASUREMENTS: Approx 11/16" top to bottom, not including hanging loop. 3.3g in weight.
 
CONDITION: Very good, wearable antique condition - please view all close up images. The locket glass is in good condition, with the gold interior visible through it, this has a few scratches and marks inside which is what you can see in some of the pics, there are only a few shallow surface scratches on the left side of the glass.
