An exceptionally pretty, stylish and good-sized pair of 1800s French dormeuse earrings, well crafted and in wonderful condition.
 
French marks for 18K gold to the fittings, tested to confirm. A warm rosy gold shade to the main parts which have a scalloped shell-like shape and ball detail, with contrasting yellow/green gold leaves to the tops.
 
They have secure, back-loading sleeper style dormeuse fittings which click into place at the back. Love this style of fitting!
 
These can be easily dressed up or down and are extremely comfortable and easy to wear but also noticeable, can certainly be worn every day.
 
MEASUREMENTS: 13/16" top bottom without wire, 1" total drop from top of ear wire. 2.0g in weight together.
