A wonderfully plump, good-sized pair of classic Victorian gold earrings, of puffed (hollow) construction, with central royal blue enamel stars and pearls. Each drop is intricately embossed with Etruscan style detailing and beading added, and the enamel is in wonderful condition.

These are bold and noticeable in wear and have a lovely rich hue to the gold, which tests as 15K. Cute little hinged loops to the top. The wires test as high carat gold surfaces on silver bases and are marked for the silver, these are later additions but fit the style well, could easily be replaced with sold gold alternatives if required.

MEASUREMENTS: 13/16" top to bottom main drop only, 1 7/16" total drop from the bends in the ear wires to the bottoms. 5.8g in weight together.

CONDITION: Good, wearable antique condition - please view all close-up photos. As shown there are a few stray bits of solder to the rears, it's hard to say why as they look like original earring drops - there may have been something hanging from the bottom which was later removed, though whatever it was looks like it might itself have been a later addition. One tiny edge ball is a bit pushed in, hardly noticeable. Any display boxes are shown for photography purposes only.
