A really gorgeous little late Georgian piece c1830, testing as at least 15K gold, featuring fine cannetille work scrolls and delicate leaves worked from flat gold sheets and embellished with four bright Persian turquoise stones. To the centre is an unusually useable vacant locket compartment with original glass.
This piece can either be worn as a pin, or as a pendant using the little loop adjacent to the catch - this is only wide enough to take a pretty fine chain, but a jump ring could easily be threaded through it for wear with a larger chain.
Some extremely fine work here, and in excellent condition!
MEASUREMENTS: Just over 7/8" by 13/16". 3.4g in weight.
CONDITION: Lovely, wearable antique condition, can't see any details missing - please view all close-up photos. Doesn't feel flimsy. Any display boxes/chains are shown for photography purposes only.
