A very unusual, whimsical little late Georgian piece dating to c1820 - 1830, featuring an elegant sentimental hand with fancy sleeve, appearing to offer a bouquet of flowers, represented by three lovely vibrant amethyst and citrine paste stones, and tiny little cannetille work flowers that looks like sunflowers or amethysts.

The 18K gold (tested) is in two contrasting colours, rich yellow with a lighter, paler yellow/green gold to the leaves surrounding the hand and the centre of the flowers.

This is a most collectable little piece, with that sweet and detailed little hand! It can easily be worn as a pendant by threading a chain through the pin fitting at the rear, or of course, as a pin, which has a quite secure fitting for its type.

MEASUREMENTS: Just a hair under 1" top to bottom. 3.2g in weight.

CONDITION: Lovely condition for its great age, with some abrasion to the surface of the citrine paste - please view all close-up photos. The gold mount shows a little crack or gap at the rear, it's hard to see how that could have cracked without damaging the nearby detail so this may well be a manufacturing defect/quirk.
